The Peplink MAX Orbit 2 is a compact multi-orbit router designed to improve the speed, stability and availability of satellite-based networks. It enables organisations to combine Starlink, OneWeb or other satellite services with wired or Wi-Fi WAN connections, creating more dependable connectivity for remote and mobile operations.
Multi-Orbit Connectivity with SpeedFusion
Using Peplink SpeedFusion, the MAX Orbit 2 supports Hot Failover, WAN Smoothing, Bandwidth Bonding and SpeedFusion Boost. These technologies help maintain application sessions during satellite handovers or obstructions and prevent a weak link from reducing the performance of the combined connection.
Compact Performance for Remote Deployments
With 1 Gbps routing, a 2.5GbE Orbit/WAN port, simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and GPS, the MAX Orbit 2 supports up to 150 users while remaining compact enough for vehicles, field kits and small remote sites. Docker support with 8GB of internal storage also allows selected applications to run locally at the edge.
